The Nantucket Arts Council is delighted to invite you to attend our
Bring Your Own Wine Contest

How it works:

Tickets are limited to 50 guests.
Admission cost is $100 + 2 bottles of wine.

Each guest MUST bring 2 IDENTICAL, 750ml (25 oz) bottles of wine. One bottle will be used for tasting, and the second bottle becomes a prize. Wines will be “blind-tasted” in flights of 5. Each guest will then vote by ballot for their favorite of each flight. After the votes are tallied, the wines which were sampled are revealed. The guest who brought the bottle with the most votes wins the 5 “extra” bottles of the wines in that flight, plus a wine travel bag from BottleWise. The guest who brought the wine which won by the most votes at the end of the contest will also win the grand prize package including wines by Current Vintage and a deluxe wine travel bag from BottleWise.

Guests have a 1 in 5 chance of leaving with 5 wines, and a 1 in 50 chance of winning the grand prize. There is no price limit or minimum, however, the better the wine you choose to bring, the better your chances of winning!

Nantucket Wine Festival Founder Denis Toner will discuss how to judge and taste wines. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, but dinner is not included.

Please don’t drink and drive: consider taking a taxi or the NRTA.

Current Vintage will offer a 10% discount for guests purchasing 2 identical bottles.
All proceeds benefit the Nantucket Arts Council and the Nantucket Arts Festival.
