Young People's Concert Series

This program brings musicians and entertainers to the Island with a focus on the youth of Nantucket. In addition to the great performances they also offer opportunities for the children to ask questions and interact with these talented performers.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Nantucket Golf Club, the annual Young People’s Concert Series has expanded to include off-island field trips to Cape Symphony concerts and outreach programs on-island by Cape Symphony musicians for over a thousand school children, as well as annual trips to attend Boston Ballet Productions.

The Arts Council is in the early stages of expanding its role of bringing the Arts to the school children of Nantucket and is seeking to start a Student Programming Committee. We are currently looking for interested parents and volunteers to help shape this new program which is just in its infancy.
