Dear Art Lovers,
There are many reasons to join the NAC or to renew your membership, many of them are listed below; but possibly one of the most important and telling reasons is to be a contributing partner in an organization that for 37 years has been a tireless advocate of the arts on Nantucket. The Council, a committed group of like-minded people, is aware of the importance of a viable and lively cultural scene and the positive and life-enhancing effect it has within a community.
Another important and much thought about concern of the council are ways to support, encourage and possibly even inspire the extraordinary reserve of talent living and working on the island. We are so much richer if we can acknowledge and embrace the working community of creative people living here as our neighbors and coworkers. Their infectious enthusiasm, vitality and boundless energy is a source waiting to be tapped.
